Hey everyone Brought this old fella from garage sale for cheap. Came with Kirby engine that had dead coil. I transplanted old Briggs 3hp from edger without dramas. Everything runs sweet. The dilemma is with the catcher. Is this original? Serial is 2170, so guessing it might be early model? Canβt find any info/pics on the internet. They all look different. I figured to use it, I put bolts in both side holes (right one is through hole in the block while the left one is only half way through) and there was a wire with a hook attached to the handles, which is the correct length to attach to the handle of the catcher and holds it in place.
