I've picked up a new toy this weekend - A Scott Bonnar edger to match my 2 model 45's. I noticed on an earlier thread that gmax (i think) has got one the same. Apsrt from the blade holder being broken it's in pretty good nic. I need to take the main nut holding the blade holder off and I'm not sure if it's a L/H or R/H thread or if there is a trick to stop the shaft from turning when removing the nut. Bruce, do you have a manual that you could load to the manuals area?
I will upload the parts list tomorrow. As to the nut what I used to do was put my boot on the blade pulley and use a ring spanner (put it on the nut) and a hammer (then hit it hard towards yourself).
The thread is a normal thread R/H.
Regards,
Bruce

I just use a rattle gun, but I realise not everyone has one, Bruce's suggestion will work, If its really tight slide some metal pipe over the ring spanner to give you more leverage (had to do that with some towball nuts)
