Hi all
Ok I am truly baffled on this. I have the Kawasaki KBL27A and its not starting now, it just floods it self and refuses to start.
Things I have done so far to try and diagnose problem below.
Checked spark = good, inline tester and placed on engine metal part, have tried with 2 spark plugs
Coil = good, have tested on multi meter also tried with a good working one off another machine
Muffler = good, spark arrestor screen clean and muffler cleaned internally
Switch and wiring = good, have tested with one off another working machine
Carburetor = good, tested with a good working one off another machine, one in now has new diaphragm and gaskets and ports cleaned thoroughly,
have tried the pouring of fuel down the spark plug hole and start ya bastard spray but nothing
Flywheel key = is in place ( it is the integrated type on the flywheel itself so no actual key ).
Compression = good, have tested and reading 140psi, piston removed to check rings and all ok no scoring on piston or cylinder wall
Choke = works
Air = new air filter
Fuel = fresh 50:1 mix, new fuel lines, fuel filter and priming bulb
Starting procedure = as I have done for many years with these machines
So fuel gets to the combustion chamber because spark plug gets wet and some comes out of muffler but it wont start
Could it be the spark plug even though 1 is fairly new ?
I am all out of ideas and any help would be appreciated
Thanks in advance

Hi Michael, for the sake of the argument try a new spark plug, just because they show spark at atmospheric pressure doesn;t necessarily imply they will spark under compression.
Secondly, how flooded is it? If you pull the plug out and pull the starter (turn it upside down so the plug hole is pointing downwards), do you get much liquid coming out? If so, let it dry out for a day or 2.
Beyond that everything else you've tried sounds logical and methodical.
