Finally got my old rover back together and running well. Would like to source some spare wheels, local wrecker says he has some but wants 40 dollars each for them and I think that's a bit steep. Any suggestions, are they available new. Thanks.[Linked Image]

Hi Southy3,

Yeah not worth $40 each for a wheel ,for $50. you can buy newer complete running mower or buy wheels or a Rover etc mower from eBay
Gumtree , Facebook ,marketplace or a tip shop.

Cheers
Max.

They look to be good over engineered wheels that were once commonplace, but no longer so.
If I found NOS ones, I'd be loathe to fit them on unless the mower was going to be a static exhibit.
What's wrong with the existing wheels? Could you clean them up and maybe even grind the tyres back with abrasives to renew their appearance? People do that.

Ahh, if only victa had kept producing the thumblatch catcher series, they would be in better shape today!
