holey crap thats how much my new cox ride on cost! althought I think it may be easier to aquire the cox these days but still thats a hell of a lot of money! How much did you pay for it in the start?

Hi MVC and mowernut, Wow!! At that price one would expect an example in museum quality fully restored condition!! I heard somewhere once that the original new price was 86 guineas (a guinea was one pound and one shilling).
It just goes to show that the old adage still rings true, that "something is worth what someone (or some silly bugger) is willing to pay for it" crazy
