That's 20 min north of Bundaberg. Only 4 mowers this year, but the usual old tractors, stationary engines ,old cars, old tols etc etc. It's a 2 day event and they have a dinner saturday night and music etc in the local hall. The main course was pickledpork which was cooked all day in a special fire pit.. I did,t stay for that. Had to call RACQ to start car before I left........... Here's a few pics. speedy

Looks Interesting ,I don't think the steering wheel would be needed on the Meanfield ,I guess when the throttle is opened the front wheels would be off the ground.
Must be something about Greenfield ,people like to add a little more Hp..
I liked the Lanz Bulldog, single cylinder diesel tractor... as he revved it smoke rings went up in the sky 10 mtrs or more, the kids loved it.... speedy

Hi speedy, I remember when I was young probably late 50's early 60's when we lived on the farm in Gippsland and a neighbor bought a Lanz Bulldog. We could hear him from a mile away every time he started it up. I just remember the bloke saying he had to be careful every time he started it to make sure the motor was running in the right direction otherwise he ended up with a bucket full of reverse gears and only one forward gear
Nice to see something so old school still going in 2023. I like how they are patina instead of all being unrealistically new looking, though I respect and admire fully restored of course.
That pork must have been fantastic.
Ahh, if only victa had kept producing the thumblatch catcher series, they would be in better shape today!
