Hi guys, first of all forgive me if I have posted this in the wrong forum. I have this Proscape brand lawnmower powered by a Kawasaki engine, the drive cable is snapped, does anyone know if these are still available, as my internet search has come up negative, the difference I have found is in the dual wheel adjusting block that goes on the frame (as per photo). The cable seems to have been about 1400mm in length, give or take depending on the snapped part. Any help appreciated. Thank you.

Hi Micky,
Looks similar to an Ariens cable, but what I dislike about Ariens stuff is the cable is $50 with $50 postage. What I have used on an Ariens is the engine brake cable from a Briggs and made up a cable clamp to fit on the cable after you have put the spring on. Worked fine

Yes I was looking at that option myself, the Briggs brake cable is the same length. Will probably go down that road as I have a couple of spares. Cheers Norm K.

Hi Mickey and Norm,

I would have thought a standard cable would fit.

Looks very similar, just have to bend the eye on the spring.
