glad this forum exists.
however I got this error message trying to access an attachment.

We Encountered A Problem
You do not have access to download this attachment.

and what that meant was that I needed to pay the subscription.
which I was happy to do

not without hicupps
the paypal transactioin went through straight away and this site said I was a 'vip' now.
but still I could not create a thread or download attachments.
so the message not to PM the mod and put issues , as I do here now, into a new thread was not helpful
what I needed to do was wait around 6 hours for it to all go through.
so the permissions problem message could do with a 'you need to be a paid member to download attachments' might be better
and a 'you might need to wait until your payment has been processed' might be better than leading me to believe that it had been, leaving me frustrated/bewildrered and doubtful about paying anything in the first place.

and to show, this was the messages I was getting. paypal cancelled automatic payment (in 5 years time)...
