I am in need of help, and I think a lot of other people may also be inthe same situation. Machine: Yard King 16" Self Propelled Steel Deck Walk Behind Mower. Model: 881880 Rev A, Build Date: October 25, 2017. S/N: SUM0064950 I've been searching high and low looking for an "Illustrated Parts List" for this mower and haven't been able to find any information available online, not even a Users Manual, but I did see there was one for the Walk Behind Model 881879 connected to this site. I am in need of a replacement drive cable to the gearbox, and a new v-belt, but without knowing what it had, I am stuck. Apparently, there are a heap of these machines around, and been told that nearly all luisted for sale are either missing the v-belt, the drive cable, or both. Would appreciate any assistance. Thanking you in advance. Daryl. :-)
The cable is Victa part CH87797A, Belt is CH87799A (not good numbers if you are dyslexic haha). Both are on backorder per briggs so god only knows when it would actually come

Thank you Tyler and Bruce for your assistance. I knew this would be the right place to come. Very much appreciated. Seems like it's a bitsa.... These Chinese made mowers are not the easiest to find parts lists for, let alone having parts available. might have to work out some alternatives. Have a great day. Daryl.
Surely a mower dealer could help also. Yard king is moderately well known. It could be because, like Victa these days, they are sold in retail outlets like Bunnings etc, not mower shops. Glad you got your query resolved.
Ahh, if only victa had kept producing the thumblatch catcher series, they would be in better shape today!
Hi Tyler, I got lucky with a used belt, cable and belt cover from an identical mower with a blown motor, which was real handy to be able to get this one going. I only found the belt listed in 2 places, but not in stock, so I have been looking for alternatives that may suit. Using the look of the original belt, it would appear to be a 3VX Cog Belt, being 3/8" or 10mm wide and 8mm deep. Initially I used a medium starter rope wrapped around the pulleys and got a measurement of about 585mm, but that was into the bottom of the "V" of the pulley. I knew that was wrong, but was only to get a rough idea of the inside length. Later, I decided to use a thicker nylon rope going twice around the pulleys so it sat flush to the top of the pulleys, and pulling the rope tight. This way I got a outside measurement of around 650mm. I started with available sizes for 3VX Cog Belts from Aimsindustrial website that pointed me to the "Gates XPZ637/3VX252 QuadPower 4 Notch Belt Narrow Section (9643-00637)". Based on this, I think the other alternative could be a "TIMKEN POWER WEDGE COG BELT 3VX265" if anyone is in urgent need of a replacement. I should've measured the belt before I put it on the mower and installed the cover, so now it's back together and I'm not really wanting to pull the cover back off to measure the real belt. The shorter belts I found were 637mm or 630 mm. I took photos of the belt and the cable to help anyone wondering what they are looking for. Hope this is helpful. Regards Daryl.
Hi Bruce, IM new here and i hope not breaking any rules by commenting here in this thread, but i was wondering if you also happened to have the actual manual for this particular mower? Kind regards, Jo
