Greetings Programs :} i have recently started on my hd8 .From what i can tell it is a first model.1966.im stuck on trying to get the two front v idler pullys and shaft mainly. i cant find the specks so i could make up a shaft. and too no what size v pullys to buy. Also im having trouble finding an exploded diagram of the old red beast.if some one has a copy it would be greatly appreciated..PS if someone has the idler shaft , v pullys, metal seat 4 sale that would be great PPS i will post progress on the old girl too TY

what's with the 60s and red commercial equipment?
I've watched some road construction videos from that era and the trucks, earth movers and other machinery are all this colour. Yellow must have taken hold in the 70s.

No idea MF, maybe red paint was cheap in those days

HI mower freak thanks mate lol yeah it was a safety thing as that dull red is justabout invisible at dusk so most equipment went safty colors .yellow,orange ,white, Thanks 4 the comments :} Ps i was going to paint it greenfield yellow or maby orange but when i fount out that the only the first hd8 was that color i have to keep her original :}

Hi norm K thanks again :} those pic s are helpfull to anyways if i cant find it as it looks pretty orginal apart from that grill .lol But the colors on it look how i want to do it so sweet .cant wait to do it up and show you it IMCO
