Hello,
I have finally got to register {phew}and have a question .
How do you set the poppet vale in a G4 LM Victa 2 stroke carby.
It has a A, C and a 3 on the valve and near the 3 is a protusion

I pulled mine apart and didnt take any notice of how it was sitting prior to dismantleing.

I have put it back together and now cannot adjust the idle with the throttle lever. It keeps reving regardless of throttle position.

I went looking for an exploded view in the spare parts area but could not find any or the manual section?

Any advice or how to view the manuals would be appreciated.
Regards

DaveJWar,

Welcome aboard to the forum and I am sure that we will be able to help you with your issue.

1. The poppet valve should be on 'C' facing the spray hole.

2. Parts list and manuals area is for members that subscribe and this is done by clicking My Stuff at the top of the forum.

Hope that this is of some help. cheers2

Hello Dave

Bruce is correct, you can also run the valve in the 'A' position, facing the main jet spray hole, this will reduce the idel speed a fraction and also the over all engine speed at any throttle postion, I set all mine on 'A'. Also make sure you have put the diaphram in the correct way around, flat face facing up.
