Hurts me just knowing they are there and too far out of reach

It hurts me I don't have a ute. Might be worth hiring one for a few hours.

Ahh, if only victa had kept producing the thumblatch catcher series, they would be in better shape today!

Or even just a trailer MF, you would fit those in a 6x4 easy

Neither of my cars have a tow bar and roof racks may allow one extra mower on the Ford Phaser.

Hi MF

Definitely worth hiring a Ute. All those utilities.almost unobtainable around here. I wonder if any are 450 pro utes. Some look fairly late model. I would take a couple off your hands if successful. It's a long way for me but I will be down your way maybe over Easter.

They look terribly weather beaten. They might have rust holes everywhere and worn bases where the axles fit.
Even though I'm in NSW, Richmond is quite the hike.

Thanks MF,

I know they are rough but I would really like a late 460 pro utility.

Any way they are sold about $10 ea. I was hoping it was you.Too late again.

Ah well there is always tomorrow.

Thanks again.

The condition of the plastics suggested they had been exposed to the elements for months, maybe years.
I just wasn't prepared to go to the trouble of traveling all that way and getting a suitable vehicle for those wrecks. If you had posted earlier and it was clear you really had your heart set on themI may have gone and tried...

Sorry MF,

My fault entirely for not checking this forum or really knowing much about Gray's online.

It's just that I have no mower projects on at the moment so not as much real interest. Spending enough time just mowing at the moment but my chonda powered Rover Regal 19 seems up to the job.

Only checked the forum because I wanted to post about my brother's success in eliminating kickback on the PT Super 24.

No urgent need here but would pick up a 460 pro 2 stroke if one came my way in my price range. They really have to be local too but that might not be possible.

Thanks anyway

I hope you find your pro 460.
Found this video on servicing one. He uses it for scalping.
