Picked up a 1990 Victa with a Quantum 3.5 motor.. nice and clean but absolutely no compression !! the other is a Flymo with a B&S 375.. says it was made in Australia !!.. I grabbed it for the aluminium base... runs OK

What a waste of a Quantum. It deserves a better base than that stain on Aussie manufacturing.

The Flymo is probably made by another manufacturer like Masport.

Good scores all the same.

Ahh, if only victa had kept producing the thumblatch catcher series, they would be in better shape today!
