Hi all
My Kirby HK25 recoil spring wasn't engaging. Turns out the loop that attaches to the pulley had broken off. After many attempts of trying to re form the loop, I've come to ask for advise. Has anyone tried anything like this before? If it can't be done, I appreciate any recommendations on where I may be able to find a replacement spring.
Appreciate any help!

Hi antstips

I think you may be bending the spring cold but most starter springs need heat to bend the end loops so they
won't snap off later.

Cheers
Max.

Thanks for getting back, I was heating it but obviously not enough as that video made it look real simple! Will give it another go with a calm head now that I know it can be done. Appreciate the help mate
