Rover drive dogs are no longer available so I had to make some for my rover self-propelled mower and made a extra set , made them a tad larger in diameter and the teeth bigger than the original dogs for longer wearing , they work well with no slippage wet or dry ground, left and right hand threads I have to ask $40 the pair due time it took to make them damo

Hello dodegy
That's brilliant! Whenever I see these advertised - as NOS - they are never in sets. [a set has one LH dog and one RH dog per mower]
Your reproductions are as good as - if not better than the originals. There will be no profit at that price!

G'day folks, +1 to CyberJack on a job well done. The last GA Spares RRP I can find for a set of these is $24.90, so for sure they're not a moneymaker for you. Especially if you bought the LH thread tap! Pic of a genuine NOS dog set, pinched from a FleaBay ad: ![[Linked Image]](https://www.outdoorking-forum.com.au/forum/uploads/usergals/2015/12/full-5630-25792-rover_drive_dog_set.jpg) Yours should last a fair bit longer.
Cheers, Gadge

thanks gadge and cyberjack for the comments, I know there not worth much in the material sense, but the time involved to make manually one offs is considerable. rover would have had a auto machine making hundreds per hour, may be some one might want a set , most of the drive dogs on the mowers I have seen are well worn and when I asked at a couple of mower shops for some the responses and looks I got were not very help full , so I decided to make some, bit of mucking around but worth it damo
