Have just acquired this mower today in very good cosmetic condition complete with the grass catcher which is no dents or rust, but it is missing the clutch and the shaft that goes from the clutch to drive the chain drive system.

Am looking for these parts or a complete parts mower or some indication as to where I should be looking, the mower is in too good a condition to leave unrestored, someone may be able to supply photos of the parts that make up the clutch and shaft.

All that is on the motor is a disc with two pins protruding that I assume engages the clutch in some way.

Beech.

Hello Beech

That's great news - that another Mk 6 is saved!
These are beautiful mowers ...

This is a waiting game, but these do show up at auction.

This is a clever clutch ... in fact, two clutches!
You are missing the centrifugal clutch and the dog clutch
that sits right next to it. The two lugs on the clutch
flywheel you have would be the clutch shoe carriers.

I attach parts and some images.

Hope this helps

p.s. the 18" is the rarest of the MK6 Minors.

Thank you so much Jack for your help, I now know what I have to get to complete the mower, if worse comes to worse I suppose I can make them but a bit of a job.

Regards Geoff.
