Hello all

Dragged my Victa V40 engined Honda mower I made out of the shed today. Since it has always run a bit fast at full throttle, I gave the outer adjustment screw a turn in to slow things down a bit.

Doing this made me question what the inner screw actually does. I am guessing it is something to do with limiting/extending choke movement, but have never seen anything specifically about it.

Anyone know what it's for? Guessing it would be the same for Honda GXV.

Thanks

Spot on Tyler , it is a choke/throttle limiting screw, although i doubt it does a lot. Most of the time they get sticky and hamper the operation of the choke anyway, so i just bend it out of the way when this happens.

Thanks Ted

Usually I just bend the little choke 'Paddle' to get a bit more choke action.

With the choke on full, the screw is still 5mm away the rotating mechanism haha.

This one actually came off a tornado that had sat under a tree for who knows how long
