hi all
i am working on a victa commando power torque key start.its not getting spark.ive only had time to isolate the carby cut out,its not in there though. i havnt had much to do with the spark side of things except clean every thing out and check the wiring, iam more familure with the points set up. does that small square rivited on the side of the block need replacing sometimes. i wont have time to look at it till the weekend,any clues where start thanks micka

The silver module on the side of the block could just be a bad earth if it is loose.

I would first check and clean, then make sure that it has a good earth. Then test to see if you have spark and if not then you will have to replace it.
