Hello ODK history lovers
BP Zoom was a pre-mixed fuel-oil introduced by BP [British Petroleum]
in January, 1960. It would cater for the surge in popularity of 2-stroke
motor mowers and scooters in Australia at that time.

It was only by the end of that decade that Victa and BP would
realise the marketing advantage of cross-promotion. A commercial
contract must have ensued.

The first Victa brochure that presented BP Zoom appeared in late
1969 for the 1970 season [see Related Reading].

The BP brochure I present here is probably the second one –
presenting the new Victa Series 70 Mark 2 – released in late 1971
for the 1972 season.
