Hi,

I have been given a early Husky 51 that has had the muffler bolt holes butchered well and truly. It's been stripped, then over sized bolts appear to have been tried to put in place, but this then broke the barrel between the bolt hole to the exhaust port.

To keep it short I wanted to know if;

1) Would the epoxy metal they now sell could be used to filled the damaged area and be retapped and/or
2) Is anyone familiar of a barrel of a latter model that would fit?

I don't think epoxy would be strong enough, I would be looking
for a good used cylinder on eBay, just did a quick search & found
one.
