I have a number of these mowers (5) that I am I hope going to get back in order, I have been searching the site for manuals and parts lists for the mower, they are referred to in quite a few threads but I must be dumb because I am blowed if I can find them. Can someone give me a blow by blow instruction on how to find them here on ODK. I went to order some rings for the 2 stroke Villiers today and a 2 inch bore was mentioned, when I got back to working with the engine I thought this is not a 2 inch piston, so measured it at 1.75 inches, fortunately for me there were no rings in stock at the moment this is one of the reasons for wanting the manual and parts list. Thanks .

Bruce thank you for that link, unfortunately the motor on my Atco's is not among those engines, the engines I have , have an angle on the cylinder and also the bore is 45mm ((1.75 inches) not the 50mm bore of the mark 2 and 3, therefore I am not sure what motor model these Atco mowers have, I am sure someone will enlighten me.

Bruce, I was reading a post you did on 21/5/08 where you stated that there are manuals available, the Atco I have stripped at the moment is ID No 1455/61279, have not checked the other 4, I know that one is an English Atco with the other 4 being Australian models, the spare engine I believe to be English because of the clutch coupling that was on the shaft.

Hi Beech, The 79cc Atco Villiers engine does not have a manual of its own. The basic settings details are in the mowerβs instruction book. These books are for a specific year and cut to cover changes from model to model. The Old Lawnmower Club has this one available which should assist https://www.oldlawnmowerclub.co.uk/sites/default/files/opmanual/Atco%20172055.pdfKind regards, Sir Chook
