I screwed the cowl phillips head bolts in with my drill and screwed them past the stops and busted the three long ones. You gotta make a few stuff ups......
I'll fix it with long bolts and washers ..........
The lawn is growing and it will do me.....
cheers

Nice job speedo!! Amazing what tlc can achieve. You're a can do man!

I particularly like the matt black handles.

Ahh, if only victa had kept producing the thumblatch catcher series, they would be in better shape today!

Sporty sound there speedmond!!
A shame you don't have some longer grass to put it through it's Paces. wink

So how many does that make in the mower fleet now?

When can we see a clip of the Star Wars mower?

congrats in your maiden YouTube clip.

Thanks Mystyler and MF,
The neighbours lawn was thicker, and it went through ok, power without revving its guts out.
That's 8 only, I got rid of 2 last week and another 2 to go soon.
I just want to keep ones I like and have space....
Ok I see about another video...

Love the build thanks for sharing.
Would you guys reccomend a flapper disc 60 grit for paint removal back to bare metal? I got one on the angle grinder. Thinking of finishing it back to smooth with a a super fine flap.

Yes the Victa looks great speedy but Freddy Krueger looks a little scary in the video.

Cheers
Max.
