Darryl,

It is not that hard to do just click reply in any post and then click on the smiley left of post box. Then when all the gremlins/smiles open up just run you mouse over the one you want, then copy the code and put it in your message. This code can be used in the shout box for all the smiles/gremlins used in the forum.

With the icons you will need to right click on then and click properties for the path, then copy and paste into the post box with your post you will need to put the following at the front [img] and at the end [/img]or click on the image logo in the post box. Note that you can not use the icons in the shout box only in the post box when doing replies.

Here is an example of icons without the image tag at front and end https://www.outdoorking-forum.com.au/forum/images/icons/xmas-2/thumbs_up.gif then here it is with the image tags[Linked Image].

Hope that this is of some help to all members. cheers2

Darryl,

The icons can not be used in the shout box as I have tried without success but they will work in post like this [Linked Image] .

What you need to do is right click your mouse when on the icon you want to use then click properties and copy the location, you then click on the image icon in the post and paste the link. Presto the icon comes up in the post as the example. cheers2

Hey Bruce, I've finally found the Xmas icons and smilies, you have to load the X-Mas_2 skin. I have been using the standard Green skin background laugh
