Lawn Wasp remains a mower of mystery.
There is little print evidence of its existence. I first came to know the make
via a Villiers ad from late

‘Wasp’ was always a problematic brand name; given that 'Wasp' was
used extensively across many makes of machinery. It was difficult
to research a ‘Lawn Wasp’.
I also knew a rotary ‘Wasp’ appeared in a
Power Mower Trade-In Guide for 1963/64 …
