As you can see, the lower part of the assy goes thru the small hole on the mower side frame and attaches to the side rail of the front roller with a locknut; the upper part goes thru a hole in the cleat followed by the spring, (under the cleat) and lastly the handle...the plastic red button on the top of the handle is removed to allow a couple of drops of oil to keep the screw from seizing up.
