Hi guys, I've just scored a 45, with a 3HP B&S I/C (industrial commercial) 14". I was looking at giving it a full resto, and was wanting to know of somewhere to purchase things like decals, hand grips etc. Cheers Daniel

Hi newbiedan, Welcome to the forum. The original Scotty handgrips are very hard to come by these days, as most split or perished, but Rover still make the Model 45, which have a different grip but are available as a spare part. The Scott Bonnar diamond logo is still used on the 'Queen' electric bowling green mower(36") and you may be lucky to score one from a golf and bowling equipment supplier in WA. Best of luck with the restoration and don't forget to post some before and after pics cause we all like to see 'em here!!

Hi newbiedan, We can supply the handles that you require which is part # A1851069 which is for the model 45 which was a Scott Bonnar but changed to Rover. The Scott Bonnar sticker would be a hard on to get and maybe deejay66 will be able to point you in the right direction as he has found some in the past. We also have parts list for the Scott Bonnar mowers in the parts list and manuals area.

Thanks Bruce for the reply. I may have a line on the 'Sheild' and I'll look into Rover grips, this site is a great resource. One thing, however, I was looking into the subscription for the manual, and noticed that the $15 fee is re-occuring every year? Is there a way to opt out, as I only need the scotty manual, and can't see myself as a collector, just want to restore this one, and won't require access to the manuals after I download the one. Cheers, and thanks again.

newbiedan, You can opt out (cancel) at any time you want to and that will stop it re-occurring. The reason for that is we are updating all the time as members request parts list etc.
