Hope all Members on the East Coast are unaffected by the fires. We copped a barrage of embers from most likely those to the West which is an ominous sign of the season ahead...

Level 2 water restrictions are about to be brought in across the Central Coast with [Censored] levels down to 50%. Officially it means you "shouldn't" use water unless necessary. I've got 9000L in tanks which usually gets me through in between top-up rains.

Need to work more on the gardens and soil
keep them all neatly trimmed with personal toil
My thanks go to Nath for the tips on new irrigation
I'll have to think about an automatic weather station

The work I'm doing now is a three year Master Plan
to overhaul everything, write it down, give a damn
It helps me stay true and work out whats best
what works, how much, when to, and whats next

Lack of rainfall is at present no concern
the tanks are still full merely waiting their turn
It wont be long now till restrictions apply
I'll keep on watering to the envy of passers by

Look at my orchid with open arms to the skies
holding colour for weeks until its eventual demise
The pool temp is rising now 28 degrees
a splash every night is simply the bees knees

My seedlings are planted to fend for themselves
feed them up spread them out in rows of twelves
In no time they'll grow so big I can't wait
to take their rightful place on my dinner plate

Cheers,
TC.
