hey all.

I have a rover mulcher with what I think is a 171cc 4HP on it. I have taken the body apart and now I need to take the old engine off and I want to put a newer second hand one on. I Have gotten to this stage of taking the blade off.

I have taken all the nuts off but it still wont come off and i think it has something to do with that round piece of metal in the middle of the blade.

jam2727,

Have uploaded parts list which shows that the centre part should knock out and the blades come apart. cheers2

Just slot a screwdriver in that opening along the center part and hit it with a hammer?

Is it still on the engine?

If it is do not put a screwdriver down the centre hole.

You will need to spray the centre piece with WD40 or brake fluid and let sit for a while before trying to remove each blade.

Do you have a puller?

If so use it as they can be hard to get off. cheers2
