Hopefully it didn't have any fuel in it when you put it away. They are quite a nice engine to start and smooth to run. But I have to stress again - really weak starter for some reason.
I have been sitting sorting out my boxes of spares - have the shell of one of the starters. And I have the throttle assembly, and whole split curved shaft from the snapped one in a 44 gallon drum with a lid down the back.
The genuine Victa starters are (were) $65.99 - another rip off.
The local bunnings had the chainsaw attachment out for $80 last week.
