I can't answer if it a Briggs pattern or not but I try to find that blown up 09P engine here tomorrow and compare to what I posted above. I also have the mower deck that the 09P was on that I can measure too; just got a road trip in the morning. I am fairly confident it will match up. It just that Briggs haven't publish an bolt pattern image of the 09P that I can find here to easily compare to. Right now all I can say is it is a 8 in (203mm) bolt circle.
