I'm always finding fishing line, twine and sundry stems from various vegetation wound tightly around the shaft. I'm get concerned at the extra friction. It can be very fiddly to remove it all.

Ahh, if only victa had kept producing the thumblatch catcher series, they would be in better shape today!
