More men should do as you do speedie. They make a fantastic mechanical sound and have a go pedal to boot! What's not to like?!? Sewing machines were probably my late grandmother's substitute for driving a car, which she never took up. One time she picked up an older machine than her regular 1970's Singer and this one operated by a knee controller and she let me take the reigns under her guidance and it was almost as thrilling as driving a car!
