It was a simple packaging mistake. Seems they are a legitimate product (but identity as yet unknown) that ended up in the wrong packet.
As GA Spares tell me, blade manufacture these days is an entirely automated process. So the wrong side of the blade could not be cut without serious tool modification. This rules out a manufacturing mistake.
