About 12 months ago I purchased some GA Spares branded Howard, Jetfast, Supaswift Lawn Mower Swing Back Blade Set 900326. They had the right hand side sharpened on the top surface of the blade, as you would expect.
I decided to re-order the same part number recently. They turned up yesterday, but much to my surprise these ones have been sharpened upside down and back to front. Both packets are the same!
As they are a stepped blade, the blades would have to be fitted in upward position and the engine would have to rotate backwards in order for them to work.
I am guessing someone in a factory somewhere must have stuffed up. I guess I can still use them if I run a grinder or file along the correct side? I've emailed the company I purchased the blades from, but have not heard anything from them yet. They are probably as perplexed as I am!
