Norm, you just got overlook those crazies.
I recently had a fellow's mower in the shop that had a bad engine and quoted him on installing a new engine which was turned down. He seen I had mower of the same size cut for sale and when heard my price he said he was only willing to pay a hundred for an used one. Well the mower was in very good condition and came with a 90 day warranty; well worth the 400 I was asking especially with warranting it for the 90 days. Then he had the nerve to try sale me his non running mower for $400 saying was a good mower. Yea right right good for parts only. This one thing I don't do buy other users equipment especially when I know it condition is a bad as this one.
I have since retire my older mower and started using the mower I had for sale. Now everyone wants it, sorry it my personal mower now as I am parting my older mower as I can get more for it by selling the used parts.
EDIT: New riding 42" cut mowers start at 1200 usd and they are the el cheapo versions.
