I'm sure you have much more experience with mowers than me, but for my own experience could you explain why you can't just buy a GT 1985 or SPA850 belt.
I had to call into my local mower shop this morning for some other stuff and it intrigued me enough to ask about these belts, he said that he had both in stock and were around $20 & $30 bucks respectively.
I also asked about the A section belt and he said that they don't recommend them for this machine, as the V section of the belt (can't remember which)was either too shallow or too deep and prone to slippage.
Again I'm sure you have your reasons but I'm intrigued.
