What's the exact file size of the download, on your 'puter? On mine, it's a 1,129,627 bytes file.

It's often worth having more than one PDF reader on your 'puter; IIRC I have at least three.

For those operating in the Windoze environment, I usually recommend Foxit Reader, from
https://www.foxitsoftware.com/products/pdf-reader/
