Hi Darryl. Would you believe my mower caught a bug? I kid you not. A one owner `74 VW Superbug L. Haha.True.So been busy getting it sorted for the Nationals last Sunday. And in between all this have had two ops on leg from previous heart surgery exactly one ago Sunday.Vein removed from leg for the quad bypass.12 months off work. Not good. But back to business. I really need to sort this rideon of mine out as it`s one of two pieces of equipment that has really taken my fancy. The other is the relic Howard Tiller but that one can wait. This Easymow as old as it is, will most certainly be able to be returned to its former glory. It has the get up and go as far as being mechanically strong. The chassis and frame are in very good nic.As is the two piece fibreglass bodywork. The free turning front wheels which required two rows of new ball bearings is sorted. So remaining now is the replacement of new cones to provide contact motion to the discs.Works in an opposite effect as disc brakes do.Pull one lever forward / back it engages cone to disc and moves mower forward/backward/turns right.Move other lever etc left.So that`s where its at, at the moment.Once i can locate new cones it`s all ahead full steam. Cheers GgordonN
