I finally got the drive belt and after cleaning out the self propelled mechanism and adjusting the drive cable the mower propels perfectly.
After cleaning out all the rock hard grass under the chassis and re-installing the belt no other damage was evident.
I was hoping to confirm if any other maintenance was required or recommended for this type of self propelled.
This one will no doubt move onto a new home quickly.
