Errrr - can'o'worms territory.
Best practice is to have the bedknife ground/sharpened while assembled to the soleplate, to ensure that the cutting edge is parallel to the soleplate's axis.
With regard to Loctite, Grade 222 is the go. As the 'weakest' grade, its function here is to fill the interstitial spaces in the screw threads, so that water can't get in to form rust. Which locks things up...
