Thank you for your reply Norm.
Just gave myself a Gibbs and a hit on the forehead for not thinking about the base hole pattern. Never gave that a thought as I am used to seeing multiple pattern holes in the Victa bases to cater for alternate motors to be mounted.
I have just checked some of the old Victa Utilities I have and found I have three different styles.
One caters for the original full-crank 2-stroke engine:-
Another for the half-crank power-torque with the wider 4-bolt pattern, and
I realised that I also have one with a Briggs & Stratton 4-stroke mounted on it with the 3-hole mount.

My brother-in-laws machine currently has the half-crank power-torque mounted on it and is a 4-bolt with no extra holes in the deck to cater for other engines so, looks like a repair job on the base with the B&S 4-stroke may be the go.
I had better check the length of the bottom end shaft before I get too excited, but hopefully it will work out and can swap the Tecumseh 2-stroke over to the alternate Utility frame, which needs some serious TLC for rust. :-)
Appreciate your assistance.
Have a great day.
Cheers.
Daryl.
