I thought this might generate some interest, this mower is going to be left as is, I kind of like the patina it has.

The sprocket pictured is also not original, made this up from a diamond back bicycle sprocket, I still have the original sprocket but it free spins both ways, surprisingly it is a Villiers midget bicycle sprocket.
Yes, Villiers did sell these sprockets to industry. I have a J&P Simplex that uses a Villiers free-wheel sprocket on the reel.
That this mower was found at a rubbish tip will have SB enthusiasts weeping.
I wouldn't mind some more photos for the record.
