Well if you're not keeping the original engine then I guess you aren't that concerned with keeping the original paint finish so just grab any of the spray pack metal finish paints that don't need a primer on clean metal such as Dulux Metalguard or Killrust. I use the spray packs to spot spray welds on trailers as I build them and then do a complete spray job with a gravity feed low pressure gun once it is finished.
