The mower had been working fine until recently when after about 30 mins it would lose power and start to cut out but then it would hunt for a while but eventually it would die, mind you it would start straight away again but would go thru same procedure and die very quickly.
I have done the following:
1.Replaced the fuel
2.Replaced air filter
3.Had carby serviced at mower shop
4.Replaced rings
5.Overhauled decompressor
I have been told that it is important the two crankcase seals are
sealing correctly as they are some how used in creating the pressure for the decompressor to operate. (Not sure if this is correct)
I don't know the exact date of manufacture but it is a series 80 mustang with a black plastic carby.
