You have bought one of the best brushcutters on the market (Tanaka). I had the old 422b models which were on a projet for about 6 years 1800ha they did a lot of work and I still have one that I kept(still runs great).

The stop switch is it broken? confused

Do you have a meter to check to see if one of the wires are broken? woot

You usually have two lugs on the switch that the wire goes on and sometimes the wire comes off the lug. Check that first. yay
