Yes, 'in the day', when
Rover was a
real Australian manufacturer, they offered
an
exchange service. A lathe would re-surface the hub for re-bonding of a brake
lining material. A quick respray and another exchange ready.
Today, the only option, I guess, is a
brake specialist (as said here).
A member should be able to help with set-up. The main thing is that there is
clearance with the selector in the
neutral position.
This was Rover's first ride-on, introduced in the mid-1960s.
A very rugged and loved machine (with hilarious scrubber brakes).
