Hello Dieselboy and Mod Gadge

That's good research there Dieselboy.
As Gadge said, these appear from time to time.
I think Victa established from the mid 70s that it was comfortable with re-branding.

I've always wanted to speak about the Trim-A-Lawn and the singer John Denver in the one sentence.
I now have my opportunity:-

However, I can make no link between John Denver and the Allen Hover mower...
Since the patents expired on the Flymo many decades ago, there has been a number of 'copies'
of that pioneering lawnmower. The Allen Hovermower could be made by anyone's guess.

Allen, owned by the famous British Hayter Company, has its heritage in machines like
the Allen Motorscythe that Scott Bonnar distributed here post WWII. These sold like grass-eating
hot cakes. Today, 'Allen' is really another case of a garden products marketing name. Alas.

All very Interesting.
