Search ebay, there is a guy advertising there, Terry, who will add you to his deutscher email list. He sells bits, repairs them and will give you info and is generally a good bloke.

I had a chat to Terry today and you are right, he is a very nice and obliging person.
He said he has about 90 odd Deutscher mowers of various descriptions that he keeps for spare parts, so that is handy to know.
