Hi Rolla,
Mate, you are quite correct...after your post, I did some research, and found that there was an original coloured Scotty 45 with a black painted Briggs....But, it wears the Rover-Scott Bonnar ID metal tag....So I feel partially correct, that no Model 45 manufactured solely by Scott Bonnar, had a black engine.
