Nice work, especially the welding, which seems to be MIG. Are you going to dress the welds before you put the battery in, or use a soft acid-resistant mat over them? Otherwise you'll crack the battery case.
Which was the first model to have the short clutch shaft? Obviously the change was earlier than E2000 Mk3.
And I see there seems to have been a design change in the cutter deck bearing housing that happened later than the E2000 Mk3. The new one you've used is gusseted, making it stronger, but it looks as if it is smaller in diameter, or is that just an optical illusion?
